Cali Winslow provides litigation support and assists with briefing in complex class and collective matters and appeals. Her practice focuses on gender equity, civil rights, and wage justice. Cali is a Michigan native who is passionate about serving her community and pursuing justice for her clients. She has a background in both impact litigation and direct client services from her time at the University of Michigan Law School. Cali joined Blanchard & Walker following a two-year term as law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Cali attended Central Michigan University for her undergraduate studies, where she was a vocal student activist. During her time there, she served as the president of a student activist group advocating for gender equality and LGBTQ+ students, whose major projects included fundraising for a local domestic violence shelter, hosting Take Back the Night marches in support of survivors of sexual assault, and advocating for the creation of a Women’s Center at the university. In 2018, she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies.

She then went on to study law at the University of Michigan, where she volunteered for several pro bono projects and clinics. As a student attorney, Cali assisted transgender residents of Washtenaw County with legal name changes, both through direct representation and through educational presentations for people who were representing themselves. She worked with the ACLU of Michigan on litigation challenging Michigan’s 1931 abortion ban to protect the reproductive rights of Michiganders after the overturn of Roe v. Wade and helped collect signatures for the ballot initiative Proposal 3, which enshrined reproductive rights in the Michigan Constitution. Additionally, she represented tenants facing eviction after the COVID-19 housing assistance programs ended. She graduated magna cum laude in 2023.

In her free time, Cali enjoys painting, playing video games, and spending time with her partner and their three cats.
